Tea Set
Sterling silver, gilded interiors, fibre handle, patinated sterling silver.
'Final Piece' designed and made in the final year of the degree course at Sheffield Polytechnic, (now Hallam University).
At this time students were encouraged to design beyond their technical ability and worked with the head technitian Derek Holbury to make their design. Derek and tutor Ian Rodger and I worked on the tea pot, I also made the sugar bowl and milk jug. Tutor Mararet Alsop did a fantastic job finishing the tea pot to a high polish.
Purchased by Sheffield Museums 1998
